These beautiful irises grow in my back yard. This is a stylized interpretation with the very dark background, which is real life is weeds. It doesn’t much like sprinkler water, but oh my gosh, when it rains, they leap for the sky...tall and brilliant. “I like the rain...I like the rain,” they shout.

Olga Kaczmar worked as a graphic artist and advertising manager for 30 years. As a commercial artist, she produced layouts and renderings for patent applications, ads, exhibits and brochures. Her computer-generated famine-genocide posters were shown throughout USA, Canada, Ukraine, France, Australia, and United Kingdom. In 2007 & 2008, her art was used to promote a film and book on the Ukrainian genocide of 1932-1933. She founded an international organization and maintains a web site (www.dpcamps.org) for genealogy research and to unite relatives & friends lost after World War II.
